Parent-Guided Starting Line

Guide your kids into a personal, growing relationship with Jesus.

Welcome to Starting Line.  We have designed this experience to help parents guide their kids into a personal, growing relationship with Jesus.  In this session, we will be focusing on salvation and the important first step of inviting Jesus into your life.

Here are the steps you can follow to have this faith conversation with your child:

  1. New to Christ Fellowship?  Click here to introduce yourself so that our team can follow up and help get you connected! We're so glad you're here!

  2. Download the pennant and coloring sheet for your child to work on while watching the video.

  3. Watch the Starting Line video (Spanish version) along with your child.

  4. Use this Coach's Guide to have a follow-up conversation with your child. If he/she is ready, adapt the prayer at the end of the guide to lead your child in asking Jesus into his/her life. 

  5. Text STARTING LINE to 441-441 for additional resources, baptism information, and to let us know about your child’s decision. A Kids staff member will follow up with you.

    BONUS RESOURCES FOR PARENTS:

    • You have approximately 936 weeks from the time your child is born until he or she graduates from high school. It goes by fast, and kids change and grow so quickly. Just as you're starting to figure your child out during one phase, they start to change again. It all makes the responsibility to shape a child's faith and character feel overwhelming. Here's a video that will help you understand the key ways your child will be growing through the Elementary Phase.
