Declare:
This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
God shows me the path of life, and in His presence there is fullness of joy.
When my soul is downcast, I put my hope in God because His peace rules my heart.
I do not give in to anxiousness, fear, or discouragement, but with prayer and thanksgiving I take my needs to God.
Every good and perfect gift comes from God, and He gives me eyes to see all the gifts around me.
Though seasons change, God’s steadfast love endures forever and I can depend on Him.
Today, I choose gratitude. I choose God’s peace. I choose God’s presence. I choose joy.

Pray:
God, I come to You with a heart of gratitude today. Thank You for comforting me when I feel down. Thank You for my salvation, the gift of Your presence, my relationships, and for being patient with me. Help me to see the gifts all around me. When I feel hopeless or discouraged, I pray that You would stir in me a heart of gratitude. Help me to see the things I take for granted and show appreciation for the people You’ve placed in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
